In Albanian mythology, Tomor is the father of all gods and humans.
Stories
Tomor originated in Illyrian. He is usually escorted by two female eagles and the winds are his slaves. He is the husband of Bukura e dheut, a goddess. The wind-spirits cater his needs.
During the medieval times, he was known as “En” where the Albanian word “enjtë” for Thursday originated.
Most of Rilindas associate the cult of Tomor to romantic nationalism.
