  • Andrei Chikatilo - AKA "The Rostov Ripper" and "Hannibal Lecter", a name given to him by the Russian public after the character in the popular American film Silence of the Lambs, which came out around the time of his arrest; killed 52 women and children throughout the many countries of the former Soviet Union before being arrested, convicted, and executed in 1994
