A hellhound

A "hellhound"( sometimes hell hound or hell-hound)is a monstrous creature that serves Hell. It is usually associated with Fire, and is defined as ash black fur, red glowing eyes, jagged teeth, super strength and speed, and 4 times the size of an average dog. Encountering them is considered to be a sign of imminent death.
